Home - Welcome to "Sound Company", otherwise known as Horsham Barbershop Harmony Club.

The Birth - We kicked into action after a meeting of passionate a'cappella singers at the Black Jug hostelry in Dec 2013. Our first crack at singing together took place in January 2013 - and we haven't stopped since!      (Well - yes, we have - but only for essentials!)

Gathering - We meet weekly on Mondays between 8.00pm and 10.00pm at the Church Hall of the Unitarian & Free Christian Church, Worthing Road, Horsham, West Sussex RH12 1SL (map) - then finish off at the pub!

The Product - we sing in four part harmony - lead (tune), tenor, baritone and bass - and most of our time, effort and concentration is on perfecting the Barbershop style of singing and performing. We all firmly believe that our role is to entertain our audience, whoever, wherever and whenever . . . and it's to that end we devote our passion, time and effort!
We always sing in harmony - but sometimes our songs are timeless classics, easy-beat, rhythm, spirituals, pop etc

The Goal - is to compete to a high standard in our associations' Annual Convention - which we did for the first time in 2014 and came 21st out of 47 similar choruses. We also take part in local music festivals, and enjoy sing-outs where we entertain an audience and leave them all wanting more! - whilst thoroughly enjoying ourselves and pursuing excellence in tone, harmony, pitch and performance.

Outcome - we have a ball!

If you think you'd like to dip your (vocal) toe in our particular form of enjoyment - then contact us . . .

Pat Deeble (Chorus Director) 01798 865518 or email . . . . . and we'll fill in all the gaps!
